《月球的背面》是羅惠瑜多年影像創作整理而成的攝影集，透過個人生命經驗與家庭日常，回望女性身份、母職與自我之間的關係。
書中分為兩個部分：一部分是成為母親後，與雙胞胎兒女共同入鏡的長時間曝光自拍；孩子清晰穩定，母親的身影卻模糊、晃動，甚至逐漸消失。另一部分則回到成為母親之前，以早年的自拍、旅途與生活片段，拼湊另一種生命樣貌。
《月球的背面》描繪一位女性從少女到母親的生命軌跡，以及那些不易言說的情緒、矛盾與自我拉扯。
